    Quality Meets Quality

We’re not sure we’ve ever seen a Prosecco as pedigreed as the 2021 Pavi.

It’s a collaboration between 100-point Napa legend Rob Lawson and Masottina, the winery behind the first Prosecco to crack Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list. Bottled as a Brut, which is drier than most Prosecco, it’s packed with beautiful white peach flavors, uplifted by delicate lemon zest and white flower accents.

Rob Lawson is one of the most accomplished wine people in Napa. Early on, he was mentored by Helen Turley. He earned a 100-point score as a consultant for Kapcsándy, and he ran Napa Wine Company for nearly a decade—the premier custom crush facility in California—working alongside names like Paul Hobbs, Phillipe Melka, and Heidi Barrett.

But after making his name and reputation in Napa, his curiosity and wanderlust took him to Northern Italy, to craft a Prosecco that stands above the rest.

There was one logical partner: the Dal Bianco family and their superstar Prosecco house Masottina. Founded in 1946 by the Dal Bianco family and currently run by third-generation winemakers, Masottina is known for raising the bar on how good Prosecco can be. The legendary institution was the first ever to place a Prosecco on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list, a feat that’s only been matched once.

In the cellar, Rob and the Masottina team employ techniques that are rare in the category: They hand-harvest to bring Glera grapes in from the steep vineyards in perfect condition, and employ a gravity-feed system that reduces the wine’s exposure to oxygen, preserving freshness and nuance. From top to bottom, Rob and Masottina live and breathe quality—and that comes through in every sip of this bubbly.
