    Prestige Champagne

Philippe Gonet’s Pierre Cellier Prestige Rosé combines extraordinary vineyard holdings with  traditional cellar techniques to produce a soul-quenching Champagne that is exactly right for right now.

Despite the fact that this sparkler comes from one of the most iconic houses in Champagne, from grapes grown on some of the region’s most celebrated patches of earth, it’s one of the few bottlings of such legendary pedigree that can easily get overlooked by the casual observer.

The Gonet family is located in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the heart of the heart of Champagne. Nestled between Krug's Clos du Mesnil plot and Delamotte's Salon holdings in Mesnil, they hold 19 hectares of certified sustainable vineyards divided among 45 parcels.

Le Mesnil is the village where Anselme Selosse reinvented Champagne in the 1970s and 80s with a renewed focus on terroir. Of course, it’s also home to those famous Krug and Salon vineyards, which led Wine Enthusiast to call it “The Small Village that Houses the World’s Best Champagne.”

Alongside the glut of superstars, Pierre and Chantal quietly release this beautiful, perfectly authentic little soul brush called Pierre Cellier Prestige Rosé. It’s a crushably vibrant Champagne, showing lively acidity, a creamy texture, and an excellent bitterness that cleanses the palate.

The Chardonnay, which makes up 90% of this wine, comes from classified villages in the Côte des Blancs. Pinot Noir, which composes the remainder, is sourced from the Premier Cru village of Vertus, where the Gonets were originally based in the 1800s.

This Champagne moves effortlessly between an intimate Friday night dinner, a big Saturday afternoon celebration, and a lazy Sunday morning brunch. It’s a flawless go-to, anytime Champagne.
