Tasting Note: Medium purple hue. Aromas of juicy black cherry and roasted coffee dominate the nose. The taste brings on more black cherry and dried cranberry notes with a streak of baking spice, mint, and toasted oak. Beyond the juicy fruit lie smoky meats, espresso, graphite, tar, and licorice. Ample and ripe bold tannins add structure to this Cabernet Franc-dominated Bordeaux blend, which will win over palates (and wallets) of Napa Cab lovers with bold fruited notes and layers of sweet oak and spice.
