    Tiny Stones, Majestic Wine

Beckstoffer Las Piedras was the first vineyard in what is now the St. Helena AVA—it was first planted to wine grapes by Henry Amstutz, whose colleague Henry Pallet established one of Napa Valley’s first wineries in 1860. Beckstoffer Vineyards purchased the site in 1983.

In the 2017 Fait-Main Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras, the historic Cabernet is in the hands of 100-point winemaker Benoit Touquette, whom Jeb Dunnuck called “unquestionably a rising superstar.” Touquette displays this world-class site with a Cabernet boasting a deep and elegant core, tons of black fruit, and a muscular frame carrying layers of freshly roasted espresso and spice.
