Light, clear red-violet color; simple, lightly fruity and reminiscent of beaujolais nose; very light, one-dimensional fruit with more akin to beajolais nouveau from a wet vintage than CDP, especially a prestiege cuvee CDP at that; minimal tannins and low acidity. This estate made incredible wine in 1990 and 1998, but this is inexcusable. I checked the cork twice, just to make sure that this wasn't 2002 vintage wine wrongly-labeled. THIS WINE SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN RELEASED UNDER THIS LABEL. A COMPLETE RIP-OFF at $50.
