deep colored full bodied cabernet that benefits from 30 to 60 mins in a decanter, very good now, will only get better if laid away for several years
First tasted 2-5-2013, was great. Opened the second one 4-1-2015 and there is so much going on with this wine, I can't desribe it here. Let's just say, it's still one of the best you'll taste from the Howell Mountain region. We have two left and will try again in a couple of years.
Was planning on putting my four bottles in the cellar, but after drinking one last night, I know there is no way it is ever making it into such a dark place, it is too good.
This wine was great from the start. I did let it open up for about a hour before starting it, but great dark fruits and strong body. Highly recommend this one!
A very good, well rounded cabernet.
Not even close to being ready to drink. Bitter tannins dominate. I'll wait at least a few years before trying another bottle.
Slightly flat and chalky upon first opening but the structure is there for a formidable wine. We are cellaring this with great expectations. Good things will come to those willing to wait.
