It is a great bottle but it will age very well into 2015/17. It is a bit austere now, but worth the wait. It is easily a $60 bottle. Great QPR.

Stunning wine, showcasing the lighter, almost evanescent side of Nebbiolo. Refreshes with each sip and lingers with lots of floral notes. Keeping aside for later.

Wow brilliant Barbaresco

Headed to Napa next week and I will be very hard pressed to find a wine as nice as this one for the price. We could not stop drinking this great offering until it was gone.Great on the nose with cherries and tobacco, tannins were mild and got even better with 10 minutes in the glass.

Outstanding, that is if you love dry, dusty barberesco's that actually coat your mouth like a blanket, leaving you with a rather Burgundian feel. This is by far the most subtle tannins that you will find in a quality Barbareso.

Piedmont Discoveries

Warm bready initial bouquet, cooking cherry, faint violet; flowery fruit in mouth, smooth and full; finish is acidic and more rosy, with tannin in the last, a rich Barbaresco that can age well.

A very lovely wine we opened January 2017. Not as bold as we had anticipated. Well integrated with tannin, acid and fruit all playing their roles seamlessly. Enjoyed this with braised short ribs and mashed potatoes!
