What a wine!!

Just when I think my jaded palate can't get excited in this price point, this wine blew me away. Exactly what Wine Access's review described. I only regret buying just one case.

Excellent taste!!!!!

My wife and I enjoyed the first bottle and are happy will had ordered a whole case for future days.

Deliciously different

I love Rhone whites, but they're hard to find and inconsistent in my area. The Stolpman is a refreshing change from the endless parade of overpriced chardonnays, lemony sauvignon blancs, and flabby pinot gris flooding the market right now. Way to go, Stolpman.

Crowd pleaser

For an everyday wine that everyone enjoys, this is a very good choice.

Good White

Good balance, great acidity wonderful fruit flavors.

A Pleasant White

This was a very nice bottle. I wish Wine Access would allow half stars, and I would have definitely given this bottle 3-1/2 stars. For the money, a real bargain. Decent bottle without the overoaked qualities of a lot of CA chards. I liked the mix of grapes in this one. Decent nose too.

Grows on you.

As a Chardonnay person, I felt the delightful description of this wine led me to expect more of a positive experience. It was a bit thin, lacked depth, but did grow on me. I like Chardonnays dry, not too sweet, but a touch of sweetness and depth to the taste of the wine. This had the dryness, but the taste was not as distinctive as I would have liked.

Pure goldenrod hue. Bouquet of salted hay and Bosc pear with crushed oyster shells. Pear and lemongrass water, hints of muddled bamboo shoot. Finished short and bright, apricot pit and lemon rind, faint green grass. Smart attack with no back-end. B-/87

This wine is disappointingly heavy, not a refreshing white.

Meh ... An odd concoction

Being fan of Rhone whites I was intrigued by the combination of Roussanne, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and the interesting WineAccess review. Once I tasted it however I was sadly disappointed. The flavors are muddled. I just tasted the 2010 Lone Madrone Points West White (about the same price point; Roussanne, Viognier, Picpoul Blanc, Marsanne) and it was significantly better.

Watery, and a bit sour

No body and no flavor....a complete disappointment...wonder if I received what I truly ordered.

I was sorely disappointed. Like xgrove, I am a fan of white Rhone and thought this would be interesting. Wrong. It is a hodgepodge of neither interest nor distinction. I am stuck with a case of what should be 6buck chuck. Wineaccess needs to do a better job describing rather than hyping blah,one-dimensional wine.
