Very nice Piedmont white that out classed Gavi. I love this white. Do not serve it too cold. I like it between 50 and 55 deg.

Very clean - pleasant as a drink alone everyday white.

Rocking

Little-known, Roero Arneis can be marvelous. This one is on the money, with anise notes on the nose and a sustaining, chalky midpalate with a bright if short finish. Giacosa is probably better, but this is near the top.

Less than Hoped For

My favorite Arneis is from Seghesio in California. I was hoping this would be as good. It was not. The Italian versions seem to lack the primary fruit present in the California product. Good minerality, but not the equal of Seghesio's version.
