Light, crisp, refreshing!

This is a go-to wine for summer. It pairs well with a variety of foods, and is a great alternative to my usual chardonnay. Love it!

A beautiful warm weather wine at a very good price. I want to buy more!

Asada Style

Perfect compliment to asada-style bbq'd lamb.

It Screams SUMMERTIME!

Typically I stick to sauvignon blanc and chardonnays and am so glad I moved a bit out of my comfort zone. Served at a small neighborhood social event, and it won rave reviews. Appealed to both pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc drinkers.

Very Refreshing!

This is very floral and very refreshing. It's going to be a great summer sipper.

Very Refreshing

Great floral notes and an exotic fruit on the taste. Long finish

Incredibly flavorful white

I'm not very familiar with Torrontes, and while the burst of flavor from this wine initially wowed me, I found after drinking a few bottles, I was not enjoying it so much. Very pronounced nutmeg, very interesting, but a bit too idiosyncratic for me. I fall back on my chardonnays or sauvignon blanca for general drinking.

Multi-dimensional

I am impressed with the character of this Torrontes. It is multi-dimensional unlike too many others. The citrus fruit blends well with balanced minerality and a lush finish. A very good summer wine.

Low fruit, high acid

Not what I had expected or hoped for. Most Torrontes sold in USA is very fruit forward and made in the style that's normally written up (or written off) in reviews as "a great summer quaffing wine". The pitch was that this is a dry and complex version, and that may well be its destiny. For now, it's highly acidic, to the extent that the fruit is withdrawn. Have tasted on first pour upon opening, with two hours of air, with a day in the bottle (pumped down overnight), with two days and also three days in the bottle after opening. The mouth feel and acid complex are akin to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and I'm not getting any minerality or complexity. 3 bottles into the case, I'm going to put it away for 6 months but for now, I'll give it an 86.

rating entered in error

I meant to give this 4 stars instead of 2. I was trying to figure out how to work the rating system and I hit the wrong thing and the rating box went away and I could not relocate it. This is an excellent summer wine.
