Gooood Value!

This is good not only as an aperitif but also for matching up with some entrees. $19.99 is really reasonable. (www.roedererestate.net)

Bang for the $$$

This compares well to other full bodied French Champagnes and under or around $20 is a steal for this wine.

It was absolutely wonderful. Tastes much more expensive than the price it actually is. This is my new favorite champagne and I would highly suggest it to anyone who is looking for some good bubbly on a budget.

Pay Half the Price, Get the Goods!

This is the best value out there. You get all of the benefits of champagne in a $14.99 bottle of California sparkling wine. You can spend more, but seriously, why would you? Buy it by the case and save even more with the case discount. What a great bubbly!

The only wine I buy by the case

This is definitely my favorite all around sparkler. Sure, I've had a bottle or three of vintage Champagne that were better, but they should have been at 3 or 4 times the price. This wine is always well-balanced, with plenty of fruit and a delicious yeasty bite.

consistently great value

There is no better buy for bubbly. I love this because it allows one to drink good champagne on a regular (as compared to celebratory) basis without mortgaging the house. Dry clean finish follows delicate fruit overtones. Newer batches of this NV starting to show more pinot and yeast, making it even more interesting. Subtle, well made and a major bargain. Great on its own and goes well with a wide range of foods.

as good as the "real" thing

Being French, I still believe that a real Champagne must come from Champagne. my favourite champagne brands are Bollinger, Ruinart and Roederer (the French one, of course). But I'm curious, so, while living in the DC area I tried a few American sparkling wines. Some (including the ones with French names) are just bad products (as bad as some bad french sparlking wines). But this Roederer Estate is really good, worth most of French champagne, and for half the price. I used to buy a bottle from time to time. Why should anyone spend $30 or 40 when yo can have this very good wine for much less?

has riched taste/smooth

it has a quality taste of expensive sparkling wine for the amount you pay of under $20

Unusual flavor

This was pleasant for the price, but it had a chemical flavor that reminded me of Emergen-C, the powdered vitamin C.
