About Saint-Julien

Saint-Julien Facts

Although the smallest of Bordeaux's most important appellations in terms of acreage, Saint-Julien accounted for the lion's share of wines named in the Classification of 1855. Saint-Julien wines are elegant and of medium weight, with a cedary perfume, solid but rarely aggressive tannic structure and considerable aging ability.
